An Alchemy Properties Inc. affiliate purchased a defaulted note in foreclosure, as a White Knight, from M&T Bank on a 40 unit cooperative located on Manhattans West Side. We settled what was five years of litigation and simultaneously took over 20 unsold units previously owned by the cooperative. We sold the units on a retail basis to maximize the return to the partners.
