An Alchemy Properties Inc. affiliate purchased a note in foreclosure, as a White Knight, secured by a mortgage on a cooperative building from a savings bank. We were able to simultaneously refinance the mortgage at higher than the note purchase price and take ownership of all of the unsold units from the cooperative as part of the negotiation. The co-op is now in the best financial shape in its history.
