An Alchemy Properties Inc. affiliate purchased a note in foreclosure secured by a mortgage on a cooperative building from a savings bank as a “White Knight”. We were able to simultaneously refinance the mortgage at higher than the purchase price and take ownership of all of the unsold unit from the cooperative as part of the negotiation. The co-op is now in the best financial shape in its history.
