An Alchemy Properties Inc. affiliate bought two non-performing notes, as a “White Knight,” from a joint venture between JER Partners and Credit Suisse First Boston. We restructured the first mortgage with the Borrower (a co-op corporation) and swapped the unsold share loan for an ownership interest in 14 unsold co-op units.
